After long providing limited shelter for a small number of dogs, Rescue Paws knew they wanted to do more than the traditional shelter model to further alleviate the suffering of a larger number of dogs in Curaçao. In October 2014, they came up with the idea to continue as a foundation while expanding their shelter and relief activities. Thus, Rescue Paws Foundation Curaçao became a reality.
